Corporations Facing Complex Problems

Main Line Elder Care Associates is a Philadelphia based healthcare management company that specializes in providing diversified and innovative dependent care programs that are designed to benefit today’s workers.

Main Line Elder Care Associates helps corporations to solve some of the problems they face with  caregiver/employees having to leave their jobs because of stressful family obligations.

Before, employers owned the means of production.
Today - knowledgeable workers own the means of production
.

The problem is that today most of the knowledge is “in their head” so corporations are losing not only the revenues but very important information when these individuals decide to leave.

Our care managers and nurse advocates provide the technology necessary to retain these key people and will help to design care plans that will alleviate the employee’s burdens. This can become a win-win situtation.

MAIN LINE ELDER CARE ASSOCIATES ASSIST BUSINESSES WITH PRODUCTIVITY

Main Line Elder Care Associates services were designed to compliment and enhance the needs of corporations interested in improving their productivity since MetLife’s Mature Market Institute has affirmed in a recent study that American businesses see $33 billion in lost productivity each year thanks to their employee’s caregiving burdens.

“While many of the elderly today have professional assistance with daily tasks at home, the biggest part of them rely on the “informal help of family and friends” to get by. The average employee/caregiver is said to miss at least 25 days a year in offering support to their elderly relatives.” MetLife’s Mature Market Inst.

Benefits of a Geriatric Care Management Team

Today nearly half of American employers provide some kind of child-care assistance. Meanwhile, only about 25 percent of companies now help with elder care.

The good news – Today’s trend is for companies to become more proactive in helping their employees with elder care.

Main Line Elder Care Associates, Inc, is in the business of elder care management and more than suitable to assist your company implement an elder care benefit plan with procedural practices.

Our trained professionals implement comprehensive care plans, provide backup care in emergencies; while this is simply good business, we also offer care management counseling and skilled support to employees who find it just too much to juggle between work and caring for an elder, and considering quitting the demanding job.

Contact Main Line Elder Care Associates today at www.mainlineeldercare.com or send us a blog letting us know whether your company is providing elder care assistance and what benefits you feel are important in this area.

Geriatric and Health Care Management

Main Line Elder Care Associates provide a one-time consultation or ongoing care management.

RN Care Managers work with older people and their families to promote independence and provide a safe and supportive living environment.

MLECA Associates provide an invaluable source of support and assistance in times of crisis or day-to-day living.

Assessments

Geriatric Care Managers meet with elders, their families and other concerned parties to assess the safety, care needs and emotional well-being of the elder.

MLECA employs a state-of-the-art program that was specifically designed to enhance quality of life.

Based on that state-of-art assessment, a comprehensive Plan of Care is developed:

Research appropriate housing

Recommend homecare services

Identify relevant community resources

Assess mental health needs

MLECA ongoing care management begins once the Plan of Care has been implemented.

Our RN Care Managers find, interview and manage home care services.

MLECA placement services follow through on housing applications to moving. Our Associates help with the move and make connections for you to enjoy community resources. MLECA accompanies the elder to medical appointments and report back to family members or concerned parties regarding their well-being. The assessments include geriatric psychiatry evaluations, in-home safety evaluations, education and counseling.

MLECA monitors the ongoing appropriateness of the care plan but never charges you for another assessment. Our Care Managers employ specialized care management for Parkinson’s disease, alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.

Our care managers are available for additional programming for caregivers, including in-service trainings, support groups, lectures and consultations to assisted living facilities, rehabs and nursing home and dementia units.

MLECA works with Employee Assistance Programs to help bridge the employment gap and relieve some of the stress from employee-caregivers.

MLECA assists Wealth Management teams with their fudiciary duties when working with the elderly since aging brings a change of pace and many “new challengs.” We understands that good care and loving support makes all the difference.

MLECA navigates corporations and individuals thru this journey.
